How are they made ?

About Us

most start off with a simple sketch to the size of the finished sculpture
then you need a lump of clay and begin to build up the outline shape
at this stage work out the high point of the sculpture and work downwards
when all the main outline are correct the final detail can be made
tools used , sharp knife , paint brush and various shaping tools
small sculptures take about 5 hours to complete
large sculptures can take weeks
with the sculpture complete a silicone mould can now be made
silcone starts off like custard and sets into a hard rubber , great for fine detail
with the mould made copies off the original sculpture can now be produced
resin is used to make the sculptures its fast and good for detailed work
the resin copies are then hand painted with oil and enamel paints
